4/14/22 PrepChat: Preparing for Wildfire Season

Coming up on Thursday, April 14th from 1:00pm to 2:30pm, we have our FIRST PrepChat!
How are PrepChats different from Candid Conversations?
The Candid Conversations are peer to peer, by people who have disabilities for people who have disabilities, so we’re talking to each other about how we personally prepare for emergencies or how different hazards affect us. The PrepChats will be subject matter experts (emergency managers, first responders, National Weather Service, etc.) teaching primarily those who have disabilities about different emergency topics that we may not be aware of, so it might not come up in a Candid Conversation.
PrepChat Topic: Preparing for Wildfire Season
This will be all about wildfire prevention, preparedness, emergency alert types, and a program called Ready, Set, Go!
