SOUTHERN ARIZONA VOAD outhern Arizona Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (SoAzVOAD) is a regional chapter of Arizona VOAD. It consists of a coalition of non-profit, for profit, and government organizations that may be active in all levels and phases of disaster. Its mission is to foster inter-agency cooperation and coordination in order to provide efficient and comprehensive support and services to disaster survivors and communities vulnerable to disasters in Pima, Graham, Greenlee, Cochise, Santa Cruz, and Yuma Counties.Executive Committee meetings are held monthly, and General Partnership meetings are held quarterly. The organization sponsors training, networking, and disaster exercises to help Partner organizations acquire the skills and resources necessary to respond to emergencies and disasters of any size or scope. NORTHEAST VOAD general meetings are also times to conduct business, provide training, networking and planning. Updates on current disaster relief are given.
