Volunteer Case Worker Needed
Lutheran Social Ministry of the Southwest (LSMS) is looking for Volunteer Case Managers for the Katrina Aid Project. Volunteer Case Workers work with individual and families who were part of Hurricane Katrina and have evacuated to Arizona to establish an individual or family recovery plan. The case worker conducts interviews, maintains records for data collection and provides referrals to resources for unmet needs designated in the recovery plan. A background in Human Services is preferred. Flexible hours desired. Hurricane Victims Clerical Assistant
This volunteer position entails data entry of client information into a National Database regarding disaster victims of hurricanes Katrina, Rita, and Wilma. Monthly updating of the files will need to be done after initial input of client information. This position does not entail case management or any direct contact with clients.
