2009 Membership Form Available for Download

 We thank the Arizona Department of Emergency Management and Anthony Cox for creating this form that can be adapted for use statewide for county and regional VOADs as well.  This form can be completed on line and emailed in with a check following in the mail or you can print it off to send along with your membership pledge.  Please note:  the address to mail in the application and check is at the bottom of the membership application and at the bottom of this email.  We are no longer using a PO box.

The Flash Flood Season Is Upon Us…Is Your Insurance Policy Ready?

In a recent 2006 press release from the Arizona Department of Insurance stated that, " Homes and businesses  should take steps now, to prepare for the wildfire and flash flood season to prevent loss or damage.  This threat of flash floods and wildfires serves as a timely reminder for Arizonans to review their homeowners and business Insurance policies to ensure sufficient coverage for property and belongings in the event of loss or damage.  Personal insurance is the first and primary source of flash flood and wildfire disaster recovery assistance." AzVOAD has chosen to undertake a preparedness awareness campaign with regard to flash flood and flood insurance. Insurance is the primary source of recovery for individuals impacted by disaster. AzVOAD wants to take the opportunity to spread the good word about the value of insurance and how important it is to have an insurance policy updated.
